About The Position
The Player's Club Host at Sandia Resort and Casino plays a crucial role in promoting the Player's Club program, which is designed to enhance customer engagement and loyalty. This position involves assisting customers through the membership process, explaining the various benefits and perks associated with joining the Player's Club, and ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience. The Player's Club Host is responsible for providing detailed information about the rules and regulations of membership, current promotions, and the redemption of bonus points for merchandise. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as the host must effectively communicate with players, answer their questions, and assist them in completing their membership applications, including verifying valid identification and setting up accounts using a Windows-based application (Konami). In addition to onboarding new members, the Player's Club Host is tasked with managing promotional activities. This includes making announcements about promotion drawing times, conducting promotional games, and ensuring that all winners are accurately identified and logged. The host must also inform relevant departments about potential and confirmed winners, as well as any unclaimed prizes. The role requires meticulous record-keeping, including logging promotional items distributed to customers and tracking inventory of promotional gifts and merchandise. The Player's Club Host is expected to represent the casino professionally at offsite promotional events, distributing materials and providing general information about the casino's offerings. The position also involves handling cash and credit transactions at the Box Office, balancing cash drawers, and reconciling paperwork for accounting purposes. The Player's Club Host must adhere to strict service standards set by management to elevate the guest experience and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service under various circumstances.
