About The Position

Provide outstanding member service in all areas of the golf operation outside of the Golf Shop. Provide bag, golf car and range services to our members and their guests. This person should have a true passion for the game of golf and the community it creates.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass employment background check and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana; must be insurable under the company’s auto insurance policy.
  • Must be able to work variable schedule or irregular hours to include last-minute scheduling needs/changes and working split shifts based on needs of the Club operations and scheduled events.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekday, weekend, evening/late evening hours, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions as needed and to walk on uneven ground.
  • Ability to perform same-day travel on Stock Farm Property and within local geographic region.
  • Physical activity is moderate to demanding and will require bending, kneeling and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate golf cart in safe and efficient manner.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the game of golf.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of upcoming golf events offered at the Club or within the golf community.
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and to work independently.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in highly fluid and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse audience.
  • Ability to work with a team and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Stock Farm Club and member and guest information.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and image of the Stock Farm Club.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Preferred: Prior experience as a player services attendant, caddy, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Parks/stages golf cars in car staging area outside of the Golf Shop.
  • Daily routine checks on golf cars to make sure they are fully operational.
  • Loads golf bags from bag room onto golf cars.
  • Cleans all clubs before and after the round for all members and guests.
  • Picks the driving range.
  • Keeps range stocked, clean, and orderly at all times.
  • Cleans golf cars.
  • Stock on-course coolers with water, apples, ice.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the bag room and cart barn daily.
  • Inventory and cleaning of rental clubs.
  • Potential for forecaddie loops.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned
