About The Position

The incumbent on this position is responsible for accurate accountability of the cashier department activity. Performance in this position must be pleasant, efficient, and honest at all times. The role includes accurately completing and updating electronic MTL/MIL and chip bank, processing Poker Room activity, verifying front line cashier transactions over $1,000.00, and conducting transactions with other departments as needed. This position must be able to perform Cashier duties as needed and understands department objectives, standards, and guidelines. The individual must possess thorough knowledge of casino policies for all cashier areas and maintain security and accountability over all funds, including chips, coins, tokens, cash currency, foreign cash currency, and paperwork. The role requires observing and verifying funds received and disbursed to other departments, guests, and transactions between cashiers, ensuring accurate compliance with E-MTL/MIL paperwork and entry, processing table fills and credits, reconciling and filling Everi Cash Center Kiosks, and performing check cashing transactions. The individual will also be responsible for performing all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
• Willingness to learn and be adaptable.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to accurately identify and cash different denominations of gaming tokens, currency, chips, etc.
• Effective communication skills with patrons and employees.
• Understanding of property and department policies and procedures.
• Accounting background helpful.
• Ability to work various shifts and days off.
• Knowledge of casino functions.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment and large crowds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately account for cashier department activity.
