About The Position

Cherokee Casino Tahlequah is seeking a Part Time Player Services Cashier to play a vital role in providing a positive and enjoyable gaming experience for guests. This position involves handling a variety of financial transactions, promoting the casino's rewards program, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
One year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations accurately.
Knowledge of casino games and property amenities.
Ability to learn and explain gaming promotions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Process a wide range of cash and non-cash transactions for guests, including chip issuance and redemption, currency exchanges, and check cashing.
Promote and explain rewards program benefits, on-going promotions, and other relevant information to guests.
Enroll guests into the rewards program and issue membership cards.
Conduct entry-level player evaluations and make outbound calls as needed.
Verify and distribute payments for jackpots and special payouts.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Handle guest requests, disputes, and complaints professionally.
Safeguard company assets and reconcile daily transactions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
