About The Position

The position involves reconciling and balancing transactions in back of house vault areas, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient operations of cash dispensing and recycling units. You will also be responsible for preparing and completing job-related paperwork and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of previous cashier or money handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to deal effectively with customers and employees.
  • Ability to resolve problems/conflicts diplomatically.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and perform mathematical functions.
  • Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions.
  • Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and balance all transactions in back of house vault areas including Main Bank, Chip Bank, Marker Bank and TR.
  • Maintain designated vault increases and decreases to inventory.
  • Count and refill cassettes for cash dispensing and recycling units.
  • Perform financial escorts for efficient operations.
  • Replenish and collect funds from cash recycling and dispensing units.
  • Organize and redistribute funds using cash and coin sorting units.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with cash recycling and dispensing units.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Conform to all rules and regulations of CTR / SARC Compliance.
  • Reconcile and replenish Ticket Redemption Units.
  • Prepare and complete job-related paperwork including cash count sheets and cash transfers.
  • Ensure vault contents are organized for easy counting.
  • Prepare and reconcile cash banks and sales for all outlets.
  • Verify counts from Count Team drop.
  • Verify accuracy and timeliness of coin shipments and currency bank deposits.
  • Support and promote superior customer service.
  • Maintain professional behavior and appearance.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Practice and enforce safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
