About The Position

Crystal Springs Resort is currently hiring for Player's Assistants! Player Assistants are in charge of maintaining proper pace of play remains the most important part of a pleasant golfing experience. Visibility, courteous, interpersonal skills are very important when helping to speed play. Assist all guests in having an all-around positive on course experience. Player assistants should observe the same golf course etiquette that we expect and enforce with our guests.

Responsibilities

Player Assistants should remain visible at all times
Maintain a proper awareness of your surroundings and refrain from areas that can be dangerous or disruptive to the golfers
Avoid disruptive behavior when in the presence of a golfer preparing to hit their shot. This includes body or cart movement, talking on the radio (turn the volume down)
Place your cell phone on silent or vibrate (these should only be used on the golf course in emergencies)
Looking for golf balls during your shift
Driving in areas that are prohibited to golfers (lead by example)
Not addressing golfers that are being held up due to slow play
Shouting or using unprofessional behavior to address golfers who are playing slow
Ensure all 4 water coolers are filled
When timing and pace of play permits repair ball marks and divots
Remove visible trash from course
Straighten signs and posts that have been knocked over
Report any dangerous areas or items that need to be addressed to maintenance or management
