Player Centered Design Specialist (Gaming Industry) (Remote, EU)

The Design Specialist role at Solsten is focused on providing exceptional customer service and support to gaming industry clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the gaming industry and be able to act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them achieve their product experience goals using Solsten's suite of products. This role requires strong project management skills, emotional intelligence, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. The Design Specialist will also collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver workshops and training sessions, build strategic relationships, and contribute to the overall public discourse on player-centeredness.

• Establish yourself as a trusted audience-first advisor to customers and help them achieve their product experience goals using Solsten technology.
• Intimately understand the Solsten product, game design, and build human-centered experiences using the audience intelligence dashboard.
• Continuously deepen understanding of player centricity, game development best practices, psychology in game design, and stay updated with new trends in these areas.
• Provide workshops and training sessions on best practices with the Solsten dashboard for various stakeholders.
• Form strategic relationships with key stakeholders to understand customers' business and develop strategic roadmaps for Solsten's growth.
• Build a feedback loop with the UX and product team to share and discuss customer requests.
• Partner with Customer Success and Research teams to develop plans that help customers achieve their business objectives with Solsten.
• Bring humor, tact, empathy, and personability to clients and help companies become more player and human-centered.
• Contribute to the public discourse on social channels and through talks on player-centeredness and change management.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent practical experience in game design.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in game design or supporting the game design process.
• Experience in project management, defining milestones, resource allocation, and on-time delivery.
• Strong empathy and insight into customers' needs.
• Passion for games, game UX, psychology, personalization, and player-centered experiences.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent practical experience in a game studio as UX designer or similar roles
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in game design or supporting the game design process in a relevant role
• Experience in project management, defining milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, and on-time delivery
• Master of empathy and insight, understanding customers and their needs
• Strong passion for games, game UX, psychology, personalization, and player-centered experiences
• High motivation to build a deep understanding of the company's products and translate the value to customers
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in fast-paced environments
