About The Position
The position involves supervising childcare areas and staff during assigned shifts at the YMCA. The role requires a professional approach to training, supporting, and supervising staff and programs, ensuring quality supervision of both staff and children while utilizing YMCA facilities and programs. The individual will be responsible for handling emergencies, security issues, and complaints, as well as assisting in family event coordination. Additionally, the role includes scheduling staff, completing evaluations, and maintaining high standards of safety, member service, cleanliness, and adherence to program guidelines. The position also involves implementing curriculum and providing childcare services, including personal care and learning activities.
