Position Summary AEMI is looking to add a Plating Technician, responsible for conducting tin-lead, nickel, or gold metal finish through electroplating processes. This role will ensure high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards and environmental regulations. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
US Citizen or Permanent resident (Green Card Holder)

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in manufacturing and/or the aerospace industry preferred
Previous experience or training in electroplating, metal finishing is preferred

Responsibilities

Set up and operate electroplating equipment according to specifications.
Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning and masking as required.
Monitor plating processes, adjusting parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.
Conduct inspections of plated parts for quality assurance, identifying defects and inconsistencies.
Maintain proper chemical balances and perform regular maintenance on plating baths.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and provide support in troubleshooting issues.
