Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably experience with PCB plating processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for operating machinery controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Past experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred: At least one year experience doing the same or similar type work
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and understand written operating procedures, Detail oriented (give close attention to matters)
  • Work under pressure to meet quick turn delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Review setup, blueprints, and work order instructions to determine plating requirements and equipment settings.
  • Load and unload production panels from plating lines.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor plating equipment, including automated copper plating lines and other electroplating machinery.
  • Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain product quality.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure product conformance to specifications
  • Conduct routine maintenance on plating equipment and replace filter materials as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols for chemical handling.
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, parameters, and quality inspection results.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
