About The Position

Come join a workforce where we put you first! The Plating Operator process all ceramic capacitors delivered from the banding department through the plating process. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform job functions per training and work specifications as assigned. Choose the lot to be run and ensure it is run on the proper solder or silver line. Inspect all flight bars prior to using to ensure they are functional and ensure the lot is ran on the proper plating profile. Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required. Maintain an inventory of properly sorted shot for proper plating operation. X-ray and cap check all completed lots and plot the results on the SPC charts. Complete all necessary paperwork and logbook entries. Move the completed lots to the proper step. Flex to other jobs and departments on an as needed basis. Assist in the training of new operations when needed. Report problems and out of specification conditions to shift supervisor for assistance as they occur. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work closely with area engineers on process improvements. Maintain proper records related to product development and release Responsible for setting up, checking, and correcting operational and experimental electrical machinery, circuitry, and equipment while adhering to pre-established guidelines and engineering specifications

Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent
  • 3-5 years Experience
  • Chemical Manufacturing OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within chemical handling and disposal
