Plating Operator | 3rd Shift

About the position

The Plating Technician position at AdvancedPCB involves working in a fast-paced production environment, specifically in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This is a full-time role with a shift from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The technician will operate various wet process equipment for PCB panel processing, which includes manual copper plating, gold immersion, electroless copper, electrolytic gold, outer layer etching, and hot air level processing. The role requires careful handling of chemicals and adherence to safety protocols while maintaining operational parameters of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate wet process equipment for PCB panel processing.
• Perform manual copper plating, gold immersion, electroless copper, electrolytic gold, outer layer etching, and hot air level processing.
• Set and maintain chemical processing equipment within operational parameters.
• Carefully load racks in plating tanks while ensuring proper temperature/current of baths.
• Load the line.
• Work around chemicals and exercise safe chemical handling.
• Follow customer specifications.
• Maintain and clean all department equipment.
• Screw in items by hand (tightening clamps manually).
• Work with hands for extended periods of time.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work closely with production staff and be a great team player.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in production of printed circuit boards.
