About The Position

The Platforms Specialist supports Hyper Hippo’s Partnerships & Platforms function by driving reliable execution across webstore storefronts, promotional communications, localization workflows, and platform channels. This is an execution-focused role with growing ownership of webstore promotional communications. Working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Design, and external partners, this role directly influences how players experience our storefronts globally, shaping promotional visibility and driving meaningful revenue impact across our portfolio.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in operations, digital media, marketing, e-commerce, or platform support.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Comfort managing timelines and dependencies independently.
  • Clear written communication.
  • Attention to detail and execution reliability.
  • Interest in games and digital platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating localization workflows or working with multilingual content an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Publish and maintain webstore content, offers, and merchandising.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on campaign briefs, creative assets, and audience targeting, then own execution through to deployment.
  • Implement promotions and offers, including coupon setup, QA, activation, and tracking.
  • Write and schedule promotional communications for webstore offers, events, and campaigns
  • Support the creation and editing of player-facing store copy while maintaining brand voice.
  • Maintain publishing calendars and execution checklists across all webstore and platform surfaces.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or risks across storefront and communication surfaces to the Senior Director.
  • Explore new capabilities within Xsolla and surface potential enhancements or test ideas.
  • Execute A/B testing, pricing, and campaign coordination.
  • Coordinate localization workflows across in-game, marketing, and webstores.
  • Manage intake, tracking, and delivery timelines across all supported languages.
  • Ensure localized content is implemented accurately.
  • Maintain documentation and improve localization workflows for scale.
  • Flag regional considerations and support market-specific adaptations.
  • Compile and maintain reporting across webstore storefronts and platforms, tracking execution quality, storefront health, and process reliability.
  • Assist in preparing weekly recaps, monthly summaries, and post-campaign reports.
  • Flag trends and anomalies to the Senior Director.
  • Conduct competitive monitoring of other webstore storefronts, summarizing insights on promotions, pricing, bundling, and merchandising.
  • Align timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across Product, Marketing, Design, and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate blockers, status updates, and delivery risks clearly and proactively.
  • Support operational readiness for new initiatives.
  • Draft clear internal communications, including web store publishing updates, localization status update, and platform execution recaps.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase execution speed, reduce errors, and improve cross-team visibility.
  • Utilize publishing tools, Xsolla, Neon, Gridly, Jira etc. to support execution needs.
