This position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

  • Write, rewrite and/or edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications.
  • Impart a wide range of knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in technical fields and related disciplines gained through wide exposure to weapons systems operations and/or test and evaluation processes and procedures.
  • Confer with authors and subject matter experts to recommend edits to technical documentation to include review of content for completeness, accuracy and correctness of language use.
  • Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.
  • Active Top Secret w/SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience serving as a Platform Engineer (Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree).
  • Current CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • Expertise in designing/maintaining secure, scalable architectures (cloud/on-prem, IL5-IL6+ domains).
  • Proficiency in enterprise platforms, virtualization, automation, and cloud services.
  • 2+ years administering Linux (RHEL): users, permissions, networking, storage, monitoring, package management, shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Windows Systems, EMC SANs, and VMware.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting in classified environments.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site.
