As a Platform Solutions Specialist you will be a key technical expert within our Platform Solutions team, driving technical excellence and enabling rapid sales cycles in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will partner closely with Sales and Account Management teams to understand client challenges, demonstrate tailored platform solutions, and build a cross-functional support network to address client needs. This role combines technical expertise with strong client-facing skills, contributing to an environment where people and technology work together to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in corporate travel or B2B SaaS environments
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical audiences
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), Seismic, and Crayon
  • Working knowledge of integration solutions including SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Understanding of HR data feeds and system integration best practices
  • Excellent listening and consultative problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable presenting and demonstrating technology solutions in both remote and in-person settings to C-level executives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Sandler, Spanco, or Customer Centric Selling
  • Travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement & Demo Management: Review and manage demo requests through Salesforce; collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to define meeting objectives and technical requirements
  • Platform Expertise: Customize and configure the Egencia platform to address specific customer business and technical needs
  • Client-Facing Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical expert during client presentations, both remote and in-person, translating complex features into business value
  • Team Enablement: Conduct monthly educational sessions with Global Sales and Account Management teams to build platform knowledge and sales confidence
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Technology teams as a subject matter expert to identify innovative solutions and bring customer insights back to the organization
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and communicate competitive intelligence from the field to the Commercial Enablement team
  • Event Support: Represent Egencia at industry tradeshows; provide pre-sales technical guidance on API integrations, HR feeds, and system connectivity
