The Platform Operations Associate ensures the seamless operations of all alternative managed accounts. This includes overseeing various aspects of middle and back-office functions, such as fund accounting, collateral management, cash management, treasury operations, and project-based tasks like audits, onboarding new funds, conversions, and liquidations.

  • Responsible for the review and approval of pre month end reporting including Non-Trading Accrual computation, and Fee calculations.
  • Assist with fund launches and liquidations.
  • Manage daily and monthly net asset values (NAVs) for all funds (Hedge funds and fund of funds).
  • Generate and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders and clients, including performance reports, fee statements, and NAV approvals, in accordance with established timelines and requirements.
  • Oversee various relationships with outside service providers such as brokers, fund administrators, custodians, tax preparer, investor servicing team and compliance aggregator.
  • Manage operational aspects related to cash, collateral, and treasury functions.
  • Responsible for executing cash movements, meeting margin calls, and optimizing cash utilization.
  • Lead and coordinate various project-based initiatives, including audits, fund onboarding, conversions, and liquidations.
  • Oversee all day-to-day operational activities of the platform, including wire approvals, account maintenance, and transaction processing.
  • Monitor operational workflows, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of annual audited financial statements and tax schedules.
  • Assist with ad hoc reports special projects as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4-7 years in financial services, fund operations, prime brokerage, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and cash management.
  • Understanding of VBA preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.
