Network Security Platform Manager Citizens Bank is seeking an accomplished Network Security Platform Manager to lead the strategy, architecture, and operations of the Network Security and Load Balancing product line. This leader will oversee a global team of highly skilled network security architects and engineers, driving innovation, automation, and strong security posture across all network platforms. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing global team of security architects and network engineers, with staff located in the U.S. and India. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence. Set clear strategic direction for the product line, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise security standards. Network Security & Platform Ownership Champion the vision for automated network security and load balancing across Citizens Bank's enterprise infrastructure. Oversee the architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management of firewalls, outbound proxies, load balancers, and cloud‑native security solutions. Drive automation of policy enforcement, including Port Open Request (POR) workflows and Load Balancer (LB) configuration orchestration. Implement and mature Zero Trust models and micro‑segmentation strategies for both on‑prem and cloud environments. Serve as SME for key technologies, including Palo Alto, F5, AWS/Azure networking constructs, ForcePoint, Netskope, Zscaler, and Illumio. Audit, Compliance & Risk Management Act as the central point of contact for all network‑security‑related audits and regulatory reviews — internal, external, PCI, GDPR, and OCC examinations. Lead the end‑to-end process for responding to audit requests, supplying evidence, coordinating walkthroughs, and managing communication with auditors and banking regulators. Document operational risks (ORs), ensure accurate risk classification, and drive creation and execution of remediation action plans. Maintain strong relationships with internal risk, compliance, and cybersecurity governance partners. Vulnerability & Incident Management Oversee the vulnerability management program for network platforms, including intake, analysis, prioritization, and remediation tracking of vulnerabilities. Partner with Cybersecurity teams to ensure SLAs are met, risks are documented, and exceptions are formally approved when necessary. Provide executive‑level reporting on vulnerability posture, risk trends, and remediation progress. Product Ownership & Stakeholder Engagement Maintain a clear product backlog balancing net‑new features, technology refresh, security posture improvements, and operational enhancements. Work closely with enterprise architects, IT security teams, application teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet organizational needs and regulatory expectations. Communicate strategy, roadmaps, risks, and program status to senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
