About The Position

The Specialist in platform design will serve as a System Administrator, guiding the team on implementation, cloud consumption, and best practices. The role involves optimizing cloud consumption to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, setting up and managing alerting, reporting, and dashboards, and overseeing capacity management and resource optimization. The Sr. Specialist will focus on High Level Platform Architecture and GCP components, including alerting and monitoring frameworks for platform health and performance, networking knowledge of VPC configuration and firewall ranges, and upgrades and CI/CD practices using Terraform and Jenkins. Hands-on experience with core cloud services such as Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and VMs is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and VMs.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team on implementation best practices.
• Optimize cloud consumption and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Set up and manage alerting, reporting, and dashboards.
• Oversee capacity management and resource optimization.
• Administer IAM roles and access policies.
• Maintain monitoring frameworks to support platform health and performance.
• Create and maintain frameworks for platform health and performance.
• Build reporting and dashboards for visibility and issue resolution.
• Include knowledge of VPC configuration and firewall ranges.
• Cover upgrades (Composer, Apache Beam, Debian OS image) and CI/CD practices with Terraform and Jenkins.
