YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR PLATFORM ENGINEER You can expect to work full-time in a hybrid/remote environment from Seattle, WA. This is a contract‑to‑hire position (3–6 months) with conversion to a salary and excellent benefits. As our Platform Engineer, you own the platform lifecycle: architecting cloud resources with IaC, orchestrating data pipelines across heterogeneous sources, enforcing schema versioning to ensure integrity, and instrumenting services to improve throughput while reducing latency and cloud spend. You collaborate with engineers, data analysts, regulators, and scientists to move features from on‑edge acquisition to cloud processing and storage, while maintaining efficient DevOps pipelines that keep deployments smooth and traceable. REQUIREMENTS Can you design scalable ingestion pipelines and govern schemas with precision? Do you communicate clearly with cross‑functional peers and still execute independently? Requirements

Bachelor's in CS (or related) or equivalent experience
3+ years of cloud platform engineering with microservices
3+ years with Python, Docker, SQL, Kubernetes, Git
1+ years with several of: Dagster, Postgres, Kafka, Terraform, Helm, Argo Workflows, DeltaLake
1+ years of platform development in a commercial company
3+ years with GCP/AWS/Azure
Independent executor and strong collaborator

Nice To Haves

Experience with GitLab CI/CD, DuckDB, Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry, Ansible, Bash, K3s, Superset, ETL for ML, languages like Rust/Go/JS/C++/C, Python libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Polars, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit‑learn, Flask, FastAPI)
