About The Position

We are seeking a Platform Engineer with a strong interest in DevSecOps practices, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise analytics systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who is eager to learn, proactive in solving problems, and motivated to grow into a technical leader while contributing to the reliability, security, and scalability of our platform ecosystem. This Platform Engineer will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, container platforms, and enterprise systems such as Denodo, Tableau, and MicroStrategy, while helping to establish and follow platform best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or equivalent practical experience Req
• 3-4 years of experience in Platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or system administration Required
• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps concepts
• Working knowledge of: Git-based source control, Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Basic understanding of: Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls) and Load balancing (application and network)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to API gateways and API management platforms
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Understanding of security fundamentals (certificates, TLS, secrets management)
• Eager to learn and grow technically in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and self-motivated, willing to take ownership of problems
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Interest in building reliable, secure, and scalable platforms
• Comfortable receiving guidance and mentorship while developing leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevSecOps tooling and practices
• Support code management (Git-based workflows) and artifact management solutions
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform
• Help integrate security controls into build and deployment pipelines (DevSecOps mindset)
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Apply a scripting and development mindset using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
• Assist with API development and API management (RESTful APIs, gateways, authentication, and lifecycle management)
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve reliability and efficiency
• Provide platform and DevOps support for enterprise analytics and integration platforms: Denodo Tableau MicroStrategy
• Assist with deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, and environment maintenance
• Help document and promote platform best practices and operational standards
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues across: Compute, storage, and networking Application and network load balancers Firewalls, security groups, and network connectivity
• Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts to identify root causes and recommend improvements
• Support incident response and problem resolution efforts under guidance of senior engineers
