As a Platform Engineer on Palantir's Identity Security team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and running secure identity infrastructure and tooling. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the security and ease of implementing identity governance and access management for Palantirians and our global customers. This position is part of Palantir's esteemed Information Security organization, where you will engage in research, implementation, and scaling of innovative solutions to navigate a dynamic threat landscape effectively. The Identity team is composed of engineers dedicated to minimizing risk, reducing friction, and eliminating unnecessary toil. The team's focus is on developing and managing identity platforms that cater to both corporate and production environments. In this role, you will create novel web services that ensure compliance while minimizing disruptions to productivity. Your contributions will directly enhance the resilience of critical Palantir infrastructure, empowering a globally distributed workforce. You will be tasked with developing automation for identity platforms that span multiple compliance boundaries, including FedRAMP and IL5/IL6. Additionally, you will build, secure, and manage geo-redundant systems and services in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. Your work will involve scaling Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across various Entra ID tenants using infrastructure-as-code frameworks, as well as building tools to standardize operational workflows across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Furthermore, you will research and implement emerging authentication protocols, collaborating closely with Security Engineers to drive these initiatives forward. Partnering with Security Compliance Engineers, you will also help create innovative services that reduce compliance enforcement costs.
