Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience required.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams to solve complex product design challenges for the platform.
  • Contribute to user research and testing, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and resolve complex issues facing the team.
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities of others.
  • Provide comprehensive consultation to management and staff related to user research and usability testing.
  • Review documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams.
  • Define and review new and modified user personas.
  • Guide the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications.
  • Lead the implementation of visual styles that support platform branding.
  • Consult on and interpret user feedback and insights to improve user experience.
  • Review usability activities and artifacts to ensure software applications meet customer expectations.
  • Provide UX expertise to the product definition and evaluation process.
  • Lead the creation and updating of user interface and visual design guidelines and standards.
  • Advocate for user-centered design and standardized design systems across the firm.
  • Ensure developed/revised products achieve user goals through user-centered analysis and design.
  • Lead complex projects that dictate team success with internal and cross-functional outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
