Kentik is the network intelligence platform for modern infrastructure teams. Unlike traditional monitoring and observability tools, we demystify complex network operations, enabling organizations to deliver applications and innovation at scale. Built by network experts to make critical insight accessible to every engineer, Kentik is the real-time source of truth that understands every network in context — from data center to cloud to the internet. This single platform unifies and correlates cloud, device, flow, synthetic data to turn telemetry into action. Market leaders like Akamai, Booking.com, Dropbox, and Zoom rely on Kentik to run, manage, and optimize their networks. The Platform Deployment Engineering team is part of our Professional Services organization and is dedicated to ensuring our new clients and partners get the fastest possible time-to-value from our products. Our core mission is to facilitate a seamless technical onboarding experience and guide customers to their First Desired Outcome—the initial, tangible moment of success that demonstrates the value of their Kentik investment. We work collaboratively to configure the platform, deploy critical agents, and activate the first key use cases, all while building a strong foundational relationship. This highly technical role also requires extensive collaboration with multiple teams within Kentik such as Customer Success Management, Product, and the Operations & Engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining the Kentik platform.
