Position Summary Under the direction of the Platelet Program Manager (PPM), this position will support the recruitment and collection of apheresis platelets across Versiti and meet hospital partner demand to serve patients in need. Will assist the PPM with daily reporting and communications by working with Donor Marketing, Contact Center, Donor Services, Hospital Services and Inventory Management to ensure optimal platelet collections for Versiti. Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be computer literate and able to utilize the necessary software and hardware to perform the functions of the job and access company communications required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, vendors, and donors with excellent listening and strong written communication skills. required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in marketing, business or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support platelet donor engagement strategy to grow donor base, increase frequency, and recruit new donors.
  • Collect and assist with data analysis to determine departmental needs and strategy to achieve budgeted platelet collection goals.
  • Prepare, assemble, and send daily reports that are essential to driving collections strategy and decision making for cross-functional audiences.
  • Collaborate with IT and MIO to improve reporting, including automation, when possible.
  • Under direction of the PPM, create platelet donor communications and execute campaigns.
  • As needed, attend team huddles and/or communicate strategy to increase collections and ensure clear communications across teams.
  • Aid in analyzing, forecasting, and modeling daily apheresis appointment needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to review and/or adjust engagement plan and ad hoc activities in response to changing inventory and customer demand.
  • Assist PPM in execution and fulfillment of the platelet donor frequency program and monitor to ensure effectiveness.
  • Offer recommendations for the development and improvement of departmental procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
