About The Position

Review work order and write/recall CAD layout for specifications of customer preference. Apply proper masking, color bars, tick marks, side guides, and plate naming information. Determine if all information applied is correct before being sent to the plate setter. Un-archive items in proper make plate folder and launch plate file to digital plate making devise and expose plate. Identify what press would be appropriate to use by analyzing the work order. Enter, store, and retrieve information on computer aided equipment. Examine photographic images for obvious imperfections prior to plate making. Check combos from proofs to layout. Differentiate how each plant may want their layout based on preference and standards. Perform minor deletions, additions, or corrections to completed plates. Other duties as assigned
