Plastics Extrusion Cut-off - 2nd Shift

Depending on your experience, pay rate for this position starts at $21.00 This is a 2nd shift position with hours being 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Requirements
- Mechanical Ability
- Proper use of hand and power tools
- Basic awareness of electric and the risks attached
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic math and computer skills
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Use saw to cut extruded product, serialize the product, and inspect the product for defects
- Document lot-controlled inspection of rods, slab, discs and serialization sheets
- Record product information and data onto the daily cutoff sheets
- Box/skid product that is cut
- Report any problems/defects/production issues to the shift supervisor
- Requisition resin for use on shop orders
- Assure proper resin is being loaded per predetermined requirements as stated on shop orders
- Clean, fill and maintain resin hoppers through the duration of the shop order
- Properly identify and return unused resin to warehouse
- Adherence to all plant safety regulations
- Report “near misses” and report potential safety hazards
- Maintain housekeeping in extrusion areas
