About The Position

Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a BC/BE Plastic and Microvascular Surgeon to join our outstanding Plastic Surgery care program in the Greater Austin Region at the Baylor Scott & White Multispecialty MOB - Round Rock. We are seeking a Plastic Surgeon with a passion for patient care, with entrepreneurial and leadership skills to grow within our Department of Surgery, Plastic Surgery practice. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system. Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience preferred Successful completion of a Plastic Surgery Residency Fellowship trained in Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery Interest in breast surgery preferred Practice will be 90% general plastic surgery; 10% microvascular surgery Passion for establishing collaborative, trusting relationships with referral sources and peers in a multidisciplinary clinic setting. Possession or eligibility to obtain a TX Medical License Fully integrated system utilizing Epic EMR Compensation based on experience

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience preferred
  • Successful completion of a Plastic Surgery Residency
  • Fellowship trained in Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery
  • Practice will be 90% general plastic surgery; 10% microvascular surgery
  • Passion for establishing collaborative, trusting relationships with referral sources and peers in a multidisciplinary clinic setting.
  • Possession or eligibility to obtain a TX Medical License
  • Fully integrated system utilizing Epic EMR
  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
