About The Position

The Plastic Surgeon position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, promoting a healthy work-life balance. This role does not require nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors while utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, and we offer physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to ensure clinical excellence. W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a typical work schedule of 45 hours per week. Paid training is also provided.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients.
• Document clinical information in real-time during clinical rounds using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
