The Division of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at The University of Wisconsin is recruiting an exceptional Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon with an interest in Pediatric Plastic Surgery to join our vibrant Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will have a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. The Division of Plastic Surgery leads multi-disciplinary programs in Cleft and Craniofacial Anomalies, Craniosynostosis, Brachial Plexus, Birthmarks and Vascular Anomalies, Spasticity, and Congenital Extremity Anomalies with colleagues from diverse specialties throughout our growing Children's Hospital. The position will be based at the American Family Children's Hospital, where the division treats patients across the breadth of pediatric plastic surgery including cleft, craniofacial surgery, pediatric hand, brachial plexus, pediatric microsurgery, adolescent breast surgery, congenital nevi, birthmarks and vascular anomalies, and ear reconstruction. The American Family Children's Hospital is attached to the University Hospital, where an adult plastic surgical practice within the candidate's areas of experience and interest will be supported. Applicants for this position will be considered for the following titles: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Visiting Associate Professor, or Visiting Professor, on the Clinical Health Science (CHS) track. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
