About The Position

Ada Technologies Inc. is an international automotive supplier of transmission & shifter assembly components. ATI has an opening for a Plastic Injection Mold - Technician. Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for expert-level setup, optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance of injection molding processes and equipment. This role provides technical leadership on the production floor, ensures high-quality output, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The PIM Technician serves as a subject-matter expert in mold performance, process stability and advanced problem solving. Perform complex mold setups, startups and changeovers with minimal downtime. Basic mold maintenance and machine preventative maintenance Validate new molds, materials and processes. Diagnose root causes of recurring molding issues such as warpage, splay, shorts, burns, flash and dimensional nonconformities. Lead corrective action activities and implement long-term solutions to reduce scrap and improve productivity. Perform systematic troubleshooting on molding machines, auxiliary equipment and molds. Requirements

5+ years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding setup, processing and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of molding machines and auxiliaries such as dryers, chillers, thermolators, and robots
Deep understanding of plastic materials, rheology and processing behavior
Proficiency with interpreting mechanical drawings, mold prints, and process documentation.
Demonstrated ability to optimize processes with a data-driven approach
Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
