About The Position

The Plastic Business Leader (PBL) for Integra LifeSciences is responsible for driving business initiatives that enhance the performance of the Surgical Reconstruction Plastic/IBBR product portfolio in the Midwest and Northeast regions. This role involves collaborating with sales management and account managers to identify opportunities for significant sales growth in plastic surgery products, leveraging a deep understanding of the product line and effective positioning strategies. The PBL will lead marketing campaigns, develop key account business plans, and ensure the achievement of regional and national sales goals while providing expertise in clinical settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales, specifically in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
  • Proven track record of success in a P&R selling environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate scientific and clinical product features and benefits.
  • Willingness to sustain a high travel schedule, approximately 75% travel required.
  • Experience in launching new products and market applications.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare environment, hospital protocols, and OR procedures.
  • Strong understanding of the Medical Device Reimbursement process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of surgical and clinical aspects of P&R procedures and product benefits.
  • Previous record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Skilled in coaching and developing sales colleagues in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated analytical, written, and verbal skills.
  • Confidence in communicating with surgeons and hospital personnel.
  • Competence in anatomy and physiology related to the product line.
  • Valid driver's license and residence within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute national campaigns at the regional level, leading marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Act as a plastic surgery business expert, providing insights on clinical applications and technology.
  • Partner with the Plastic Marketing Group to create field-level initiatives for business growth.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise sales team to launch GPO and IDN contracts.
  • Lead VAC submission and approval efforts, building strong relationships with Account Managers.
  • Evaluate and measure consignment inventory agreements with Account Managers.
  • Participate in regional and national sales meetings to align strategies.
  • Develop IBBR sales strategies in partnership with Regional Sales Management.
  • Provide planning tools to sales representatives to facilitate territory sales planning.
  • Drive plastic sales performance to meet goals through field-level activities.
  • Manage deployment of key resources at the regional level to enhance business performance.
  • Develop written strategic business plans for key accounts in the region.
  • Foster relationships with key opinion leaders to strengthen corporate ties.
  • Facilitate key customer meetings to drive business growth.
  • Provide expertise in clinical settings and at conventions to promote sales.
  • Conduct regular field sales visits to assist in sales execution and team development.
  • Deliver product presentations and in-services to healthcare staff.
