Plastic Bottle Packaging & Quality Technician
About The Position
Step into a Day on the Line Picture this: you arrive at our Addison, IL facility, gear up with your PPE, and take your spot along a modern production line. With an approved sample bottle in hand, you visually inspect each plastic bottle as it moves past, quickly separating any that don’t meet spec. Acceptable bottles are packed into approved shipping containers, sealed, and palletized for transport. Throughout the shift, you keep your work area tidy, follow safety and quality procedures, and log basic counts and notes on the computer. You’re part of a supportive, steady team—and there’s real opportunity to grow from temp to perm. Location Addison, IL Schedule & Pay 1st Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3:50 AM – 4:00 PM — $16.00 (Temp to Perm) 2nd Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3:50 PM – 4:00 AM — $17.00 (Temp to Perm) Work every other weekend
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (High School/GED)
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Shop math skills; basic computer skills; solid organization
- Comfort wearing required PPE and following safety regulations
Nice To Haves
- Experience with assembly, hand-packing, or visual inspection is a plus
Responsibilities
- Compare bottles on the line to approved samples and visually inspect for defects
- Pack in-spec bottles into authorized shipping containers
- Identify, separate, and report non-conforming product
- Palletize full containers for removal from production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization while adhering to all safety and quality policies
