The Plasterer 200 and Plasterer 755 positions at Disneyland Resort are integral roles that contribute to the magic of the park by ensuring that various plastering and repair tasks are completed to high standards. The Plasterer 200 is primarily responsible for performing plastering functions that include both normal and simulated finishes, such as rock work, brick, stone, and wood. This role involves the removal and installation of tile, brick pavers, concrete, and asphalt, and encompasses a range of work from shop tasks to field and rehabilitation projects. The ability to read blueprints and follow engineering instructions is essential, as is proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools. This position supports Engineering and all maintenance teams, including those responsible for attractions, rides, shows, and infrastructure facilities. The Plasterer 755 role expands on these responsibilities by focusing on model and mold making, including fiberglass and silicone work. This position also involves fiberglass repair and the manufacturing and casting of parts using materials such as urethanes, epoxies, and resins. Similar to the Plasterer 200, the Plasterer 755 will also engage in the removal and installation of tile, brick pavers, concrete, and asphalt, as well as the fabrication of MACON parts and the repair and refurbishment of character heads. This role requires a keen eye for detail, especially when working with fine and sensitive character heads during repairs or refurbishments. Both positions require a commitment to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with shifts typically scheduled at night and availability required across all days of the week, including holidays.
