About The Position

HW Metal Products Inc. is seeking an experienced Plasma Cutting Burning Table Operator for a swing shift position. The role involves operating CNC plasma cutting machines and overhead cranes, ensuring safety and quality in the manufacturing process. The operator will work a 4/10 schedule from Monday to Thursday, with competitive pay and benefits available after a 90-day probation period.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an operator of CNC plasma burning tables.
• Experience in manufacturing/production for at least 3 years.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints for at least 2 years (preferred).
• Proficient in English.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Experience reading drawings/blueprints for 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Plasma Cutting machines.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Use hand torch and hand plasma cutter.
• Utilize all necessary hand tools associated with plasma cutting machines.
• Understand overhead crane weight limits and appropriate rigging for assigned work.
• Safely load and unload plasma tables using overhead cranes.
• Effectively use measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and protractors.
• Understand work orders and schedules, adapting to changing priorities.
• Communicate effectively and organize work with helpers and other operators.
• Conduct QA checks and document results.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs for 1-10 hours a day.
• Bend, twist, kneel, step, walk, climb, and reach for 1-10 hours a day.
