About The Position

Overview of job Responsibilities and duties Read drawings, sketches and set press machine accordingly Perform loading, positioning and unloading of material for machine cycle processing Operate required equipment under minimal supervision to fabricate and form metal parts Monitor machines for irregularities Regularly inspect finished product Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and conduct minor repairs Adhere to all Safety Standards and Regulations Document and file daily Production results

Requirements

• Bilingual speaking English/Spanish preferred
• Strong communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills
• Stamina: Press brake operators often work long hours conducting repetitive movements
• Attention to detail: Press brakes are precision equipment, being off by millimeters could be a critical error, keen attention to detail is required
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Remains calm and in control under pressure
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-2 years related Press Brake Operator experience
