About The Position
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for operating the coater at top efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate the coater at top efficiency
- Control the latex cup weight using the latex control screen to ensure proper application
- Make sure the carpet is dry at the proper back temperature, regulating oven zone temperatures as needed
- Gap applicator roller weekly
- Operate foam application using the foamer application panel
- Control Mahlo settings to minimize bow and skew in pattern products
- Ensure the carpet and backing are pinning correctly on the tenter chain
- Monitor latex plows and puddle
- Keep work area clean
