The Finishing Lead is responsible for assisting the supervisor in the daily operation of the shift. This role requires maintaining a working knowledge of all jobs in the coater department to relieve, replace, or assist in employee absences. The Finishing Lead will provide instructions, directions, and guidance to all line personnel, perform Tuftbind and Delamination tests when needed, fill in for the supervisor as required, and perform periodic weight checks. Additionally, the Finishing Lead will respond to any issues that arise during the shift.
