About The Position

Be the reliability backbone of our Temple, TX facility Quick facts Location: Temple, Texas Pay: $27.17–$30.24 per hour Schedule: 7:45am–4:15pm (Monday–Friday) Text to apply: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX) What you’ll do Inspect facilities, equipment, and building systems; identify issues and complete repairs. Own preventive maintenance schedules; respond to unplanned downtime and emergencies. Handle routine facility upkeep: swap lighting, clear drains, repair leaks. Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized projects beyond routine scope. Start up/shut down critical plant systems: generators, air compressors, cooling towers, and chillers. Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical problems. Operate lathes, mills, welders, drill presses, and hand tools safely and effectively. Use computer-based tools to source spare parts and produce maintenance reports. Care for and organize personal hand tools; ensure proper use and storage. Keep accurate maintenance records and timely time reporting. Support electricians and assist cross-functional teammates. Mentor junior team members when assigned. Follow safety policies and wear all required PPE. Maintain clean, orderly work areas aligned to 5S and safety standards. Engage in continuous improvement and team-based problem solving. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 2 years in manufacturing maintenance or an industrial mechanics certification.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude; understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Ability to read/interpret technical documentation and instructions.
  • Experience with maintenance tools and shop equipment; welding experience a plus.
  • PIT and man/scissor lift certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Comfort working in a factory environment with noise, heat, and moving machinery.
  • Capable of standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for long periods.
  • Open to overtime, weekend, or holiday work when needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Hands-on background with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry repairs.
  • Self-driven; effective independently and in a team setting.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced setting.
