About The Position

Join our team as a Plant Systems Engineer for our Cincinnati, OH facility. Take ownership of planning, executing and providing technical expertise for plant electrical systems and equipment. Under the leadership of the Engineering Manager, you will lead the PCIS portion of the engineering department. Knowledge of PLC programming, instrumentation and controls will be key!   Be a vital part of our facilities’ success striving towards meeting our continuous improvement goals and providing technical expertise. Here in Cincinnati, we make our crackers with passion and flavor. Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of PLC programming (RS Logix/ Rockwell/Allen Bradley).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully manage internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong capacity to influence technicians, managers and other resources.
  • Experience with electrical power distribution and project management.
  • Experience with high voltage equipment and server or network maintenance.
  • High school diploma or GED with substantial working experience in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Improving and Innovating – Own the performance of the plant’s PLC software systems / network, electrical drawing system and all power systems work. This could include hardware, software, plant and system wide architecture and surplus assets. Ensure the successful delivery and use of these technologies. Collaborate with the Sr. Systems Engineer to promote common systems, leveraging of scale and future integration possibilities.
  • Supporting and Delivering Key Projects – Share your expertise and demonstrate leadership for all PCIS projects and site initiatives. Provide and capture the scope of each project, working with the processing and packing departments and developing relationships with global engineering and vendors.
  • Developing Capabilities – Coach and develop the engineering support organization and daily operation leadership. You will manage training for site resources and ensure expertise around legal and Company requirements.
