As Supplier Quality Assurance you will be in charge of Supplier issues, supplier recovery costs, quarantine cost management (incoming), customer satisfaction, non-conformities in IATF certifications. Your responsibilities will include managing suppliers' quality concerns, consolidating quality performance indicators, collecting and evaluating supplier's Certificate of Analysis (COA), conducting product or process audits, and maintaining the supplier's quality problem in the quality management system. You will also support PC&L for material receiving or planning issues and review the entry process for new goods or suppliers.

  • Responsible for suppliers' quality concerns, managing complaints in a timely manner with the active participation of suppliers.
  • Consolidate the quality performance indicators of the suppliers required for the plant and communicate them to the Plant Quality Manager and the Serial Life Buyer.
  • Collect and evaluate the supplier's Certificate of Analysis (COA) and schedule a random inbound inspection to confirm compliance of the supplier's shipment.
  • Schedule the incoming inspection when the supplier or product is on trial.
  • Conduct product or process audits of suppliers' site based on performance or specific customer requirements.
  • Update and communicate the Plant Red List of suppliers and formally notify suppliers of their status.
  • Timely manage and maintain the supplier's quality problem (QP) in the quality management system (QSS) database.
  • Request support from the Supplier Quality and Development (SQD) group for escalated issues.
  • Support to PC&L for situations related to material receiving or planning issues.
  • Review the entry process for new goods or suppliers based on input from the Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (ASQ) and the Program Quality Leader (PQL).
  • Write incoming inspection instructions for all products and preserve associated boundary samples.
  • Work with ASQ engineer to transfer the new PPAP package of incoming goods from the development phase to series life.
  • Timely manage and maintain APQP/PPAP files in the PPAP database for any product/process engineering changes during serial life.
  • Industrial Engineer or similar.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the Automotive Industry.
  • Experience dealing with Automotive Industry Suppliers.
  • Core Tools (AMEF, PSO, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA) 8D's, 5 whys /Troubleshooting Tool.
  • D/TLD Quality Knowledge.
  • Knowledge of VDA in its current versions.
  • Knowledge of supplier audits.
  • Basic knowledge of identifying hazards and risks of environmental aspects/impacts.
