About The Position

Plant supervisor to oversee daily operations within our DYWIDAG Alvarado, TX facility. Will be responsible for ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently and on schedule. The role includes managing frontline staff, enforcing safety, quality standards, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
3-5 years supervisory experience and/or training; or combination of education
Experience with Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook in MS Office
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Enforces company policies and guidelines.
Supervise and coordinate activities of plant and warehouse workers.
Monitor daily operations to ensure production targets, safety standards, quality objectives, customer satisfaction metrics are achieved.
Plan and delegate work assignments, monitor progress, and adjust workloads as necessary.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety policies.
Train and coach employees on operational procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
Maintain accurate production, inventory, and maintenance records.
Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and quality control teams to optimize workflow.
Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment, or processes.
Participate in performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.
