Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Quarry
• Experience with screens and crushers is required
• Experience working with MSHA
• Pre-employment screenings are required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to conduct maintenance and repairs utilizing a work order system
• Be in the field 80% of the time
• Complete and organize necessary paperwork to effectively manage plant production, maintenance, staffing, and safety
• Maintain up-to-date records including inventory, zone inspections, and checklists
• Kitting of parts and tooling for maintenance projects which may require running for parts
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance and ensure that risk assessments are completed
• Assess equipment, order new materials as required, and coordinate with internal and external maintenance to address plant and equipment readiness
• Assure that all vehicles on site are maintained to good standards
• Adhere to any and all state and federal regulations, if applicable, as set forth by the US Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), or any other regulatory agency.
