About The Position

The Plant Sanitarian at Sensient Technologies is responsible for performing hands-on sanitation tasks within the facility, ensuring cleanliness and safety in compliance with industrial hygiene standards. This role requires adaptability to work in various environments and the ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively. The position is integral to maintaining a safe and productive manufacturing process, particularly in a food production context.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and adaptability to different activities each day.
• Interest in being part of an effective and productive manufacturing process.
• Ability to read and write with a desire to continually learn and improve.
• Knowledge of Industrial Safety and Hygiene guidelines, with previous experience in plant production sites, preferably in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Effectively follow Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment using various hand and power tools.
• Have knowledge of cleaning with chemical use and purpose.
• Document completion of tasks on respective master Sanitation schedule.
• Operate a Genie Boom, scissor lift, floor scrubber, and power washer/ice blaster.
