If these qualities describe you, we’d love for you to join Ingevity! The Plant Operator is responsible for the execution of basic production in the Thermo Plastic and/or Paint Department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to following verbal and written directions
  • Ability to earn forklift certification
  • Ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs.; Stand up to 11 hours daily
  • Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration
  • This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US
  • This role is not eligible for relocation assistance

Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute production including and not limited to the podium, cat walk, bagging, cutting, wrapping, mixing and filling line operations
  • Operate respective machinery according to the operations manual, best practices and directions provided
  • Execute proper settings, calibrations, troubleshooting, maintenance, quality and production output of the equipment
  • Comply with all company policies and guidelines
  • Assist in maintaining a safe environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead or Plant Manager
