About The Position

Luck Stone's Pittsboro Plant is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Operator to join their team for 2nd shift (1:30-10:30). Our Plant Operators monitor our crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders and bins to maximize production and provide quality products. Since safety is a top priority at Luck, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition through hands-on maintenance.

Requirements

• Prior experience (1 year) preferred operating and/or performing maintenance in a similar environment
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic computer skills
• Must have a team-oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.

Nice To Haves

• Welding a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance: changing screens, greasing, changing rollers, belt splices, rebuilding crushers, welding and fabrication a bonus
• Consistently inspect and monitor plant to ensure proper operation
• Assists with other site projects as requested
• Prioritizes safety throughout operation for self and others
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
