Day Shift Plant Operator (Rotational)
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and minor mobile equipment repairs on a rotational basis. Conduct pre-shift autonomous inspections and report findings. Monitor and maintain quarry water pumps and related systems. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Requirements
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot plant and mobile equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with lubrication practices, basic mechanical repairs, and pump systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- Capability to perform physical tasks and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
