About The Position

Requirements

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, rotating equipment) and ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Complete minor repairs and adjustments within operator scope.
  • Assist maintenance team during preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs.
  • Tech Skills: Comfortable with data entry and basic computer applications; experience with production software is a plus.
  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years in manufacturing or plant operations preferred.
  • Technical certifications are a bonus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 80 lbs. (with assistance as needed).
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and dust.

Responsibilities

  • Operate & Monitor Equipment: Set up, run, and adjust TCM plant machinery following SOPs to maintain optimal production rates and quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance, output quality and production rates.
  • Perform routine changeovers, startups and shutdowns.
  • Troubleshoot & Maintain: Perform basic mechanical diagnostics and minor repairs on motors, pumps, valves, and other components.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and adhere to lockout/tagout safety protocols.
  • Ensure Quality & Safety: Conduct in-process quality checks, maintain a clean and organized workspace, follow 6S/lean manufacturing standards and report any safety concerns or process deviations immediately.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen activities, suggest process enhancements, and help train new team members.
