About The Position

The Technician – Cyanide operates the chemical processes/system associated with the Cyanide Product Line to the extent of their skill and competence while undergoing comprehensive training program.

Requirements

• With tertiary or technical qualification - up to 2 years experience post qualification.
• Without formal qualifications - up to 10 years of administrative experience, or allocation of work to operators.
• Role dependent - technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
• Demonstrates courage, resilience and flexibility
• Strong reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values and solid character
• Solid interpersonal & communication skills
• Self-aware and open to feedback
• Work effectively across teams
• Able to work independently with only targeted supervision
• Productive without compromising quality
• Highly reliable and motivated to excel

Nice To Haves

• Insert tertiary qualification required for role (e.g. Accountant must have a tertiary degree in an Accounting discipline, an Engineer must have a tertiary degree in an Engineering discipline) OR Technical qualification / legistlative / SHES certification

Responsibilities

• Controls or operates chemical processes or systems of machines, using panel boards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipment.
• Engages with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality.
• Engages with others to resolve production problems or equipment malfunctions.
• Directs operational or production activities.
• Repairs production equipment or tools.
