About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operator to support daily operations at our processing facility. This role is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining plant systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in cryogenic gas processing and Distributed Control Systems (DCS), with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust processes to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in plant or gas processing operations (oil & gas preferred).
• Cryogenic processing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot process equipment.
• Ability to work rotating day/night 12-hour shifts on a 14/14 schedule.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to environmental compliance.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment, including compressors, pumps, turbines, and related systems.
• Utilize DCS systems to monitor plant conditions, adjust controls, and respond to alarms.
• Perform routine checks, inspections, and data logging to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Assist with start-up, shutdown, and operational transitions.
• Monitor cryogenic processing systems and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate as needed to maintenance or supervisory staff.
• Complete daily reports, logs, and shift handovers with accuracy and detail.
• Support a strong safety culture by following all company procedures and regulatory requirements.
