About The Position
The Plant Operator works a rotating shift to operate and maintain the safe and compliant operations of the gas processing plant and related facilities. This position requires the operator to monitor and control the processing plant equipment and systems from a central control room using Wonderware HMI and eLynx systems. The operator is responsible for completing daily data entry on computer and mobile devices to record process conditions and production quantities. Constant communication with fellow employees and management is essential, utilizing email, telephone, and two-way radios. The operator performs regularly scheduled inspections to detect malfunctions and ensure the proper, safe, and compliant operation of the plant and pipeline facilities. Additionally, the operator must maintain and adhere to required company training, policies, and procedures, and perform all other duties as assigned.
